You’ll provide comprehensive full cycle HR support to the Alberta business, as well as be a key member of the Canada HR Team.

Support and partner with leaders across multiple functions on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and special projects.
Collaborate and partner with the Employee Services Team, Talent Acquisition, and other regional HRBP’s to create a positive employee experience and leverage the expertise of the team.
Create outstanding experiences for our internal customers by providing timely, effective, people focused solutions and identifying opportunities to improve our practices.
Effectively partner with leadership and other HR functions to appropriately support the 7-Eleven, HR and regional business objectives.
Use data and HR metrics to raise issues and celebrate successes.
Partner with HR and client group to develop, facilitate and encourage training and development to effectively grow team members.
Conduct investigations and partner with applicable stakeholders to drive resolutions.
Provide guidance, coaching and direction in all aspects of HR with focus on innovation and a creating a positive employment experience.
Partner and advice client group to ensure compliance with employment legislation and human rights.
Lead the delivery and implementation of key HR projects and activities within client group.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or relevant combined education and experience (CPHR is an asset).
3-5 years HR generalist experience.
Competent in Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems with Oracle experience an asset.
Strong facilitation and project management skills with ability to adapt to changing environments.
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills with the ability to influence others, think strategically, and initiate
Strong time management and organizational skills and attention to detail to manage work, competing deadlines and sensitive projects.
Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle, HR policies, practices and procedures, as well as the Alberta labour laws.
Willing to travel as needed, estimated at less than 15% of the time.
Comfortable working from a remote office and from home
Retail / Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
