Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator will be responsible for monitoring the safe operation of line equipment using monitors and gauges. The Machine Operator will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and the production of a good quality product.

Salary:
* $18.82/hr to start with a progressive increase every 6 months!

Shifts Available:
* Day Shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
* Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm (Monday to Friday)
* Night Shift: 10:45pm - 7:00am (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure proper and safe operation of equipment
* Review the daily production schedule
* Responsible for proper and accurate set up of the lines
* Coordinate with Mixers and other Machine Operators on the line
* Maintain a safe and hazard free work area including proper cleaning of equipment
* Provide coverage as a general production worker/mixer when required
* Follow Give & Go core values - Respect, Direct Communication & Quality
* Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP' and Health and Safety.
* Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Recipe for Success:
* Completion of high school education or equivalent.
* Manufacturing experience (food manufacturing experience an asset).
* Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
* Computer proficiency for MS Applications such as Word, and Excel.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to lift to up to 25 pounds
