Job Overview
Under the general supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor; the Mixer's primary responsibility is to mix raw materials and create finished products according to the batch recipes. He/she will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality product is always produced.

Salary:
* $19.86/hr to start with a progressive increase every 6 months!

Shifts Available:
* Morning Shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
* Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm - 11:00pm (Monday to Friday)
* Night Shift: 10:45pm - 7:00am (Monday to Friday)

Location: Multiple locations in Brampton, Woodbridge and Concord, ON.

Key Responsibilities:
* Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
* Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas.
* Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment
* Accurate and timely completion of production records
* Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment
* Maintaining work area clean and free of hazards
* Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, as needed
* Practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
* Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Recipe for Success:
* Completion of High School education or equivalent
* Previous Manufacturing experience (Food Manufacturing experience an asset)
* Demonstrated Mechanical Aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Computer competency and ability to perform simple math calculations
* Good verbal communication and understanding of written materials (SOPs, training documents)
* Able to manage multiple tasks and coordinate work with team members
