Manpower Staffing is currently recruiting an Assistant Director of Admission for our renowned client located in Downtown Calgary

Schedule: Full Time Hours with possible weekend availability; In Office

Length of Assignment: Permanent position

*As the Assistant Director of Admissions, your role is to promote and sell programs to potential candidates and ensure all applications are complete and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. You are responsible for selling programs to meet or exceed the targets each month given.

The role entails:
*Taking 50-100 calls per day
*Providing sales and product information on programs and offerings
*Achieving monthly and annual sales targets
*Providing sales and product information on programs and offerings such as: Responding to all inquiries by email, text message, telephone and walk-in inquiries from potential students; promoting the programs and services
*Interviewing potential candidates to explore their background and interests. Responsible for identifying potential candidate's career goals and providing advice on appropriate programs to meet their goals.
*Overseeing closely each enrolled candidate by employing motivational strategies to ensure that the student starts on the defined date.
*Tracking and follow-up on potential leads and provide motivation and encouragement to potential students as appropriate
*Ensuring all candidate documentation and files are complete, including completion of prerequisites to enable a timely program start.
